Derek Rolando

For the past 30 years Derek has worked with many great artists throughout his musical career, here are a few - Pete Escovedo, Ray Obiedo,Lenny Williams,Quicksilver,The Whispers,Sheila E. Regina Carter,Chris Cain, & John Santos. He has also performed with members of Santana, Journey, Tower of Power, & Cold Blood. Derek has recorded on childrens video sound tracks (Where in the world is Carmen San Diego) and (Dr. Suess) Derek Rolando can be heard on his own CD "One Smooth Ride" He has been active in the music industry performing,recording and teaching. Derek is currently working on his new solo CD project and perfoming live and recording with Bay Area guitar great, Ray Obiedo and Mambo Caribe. He is endorsed and plays Gon Bop Percussions and has been featured in Latin Beat Magazine.
